The opinions of Romanian entrepreneurs on the use of a CRM |

For all activities today, the collection, analysis and processing of customer data have become essential.

From its appearance, the CRM system has had just how the main objective is to attract and maintain customers by collecting data.

To this end, we conducted a study with the aim of identifying the main elements that define the information, preferences and type of purchase, a CRM question for entrepreneurs or managers of companies in our country.

This report presents the summary conclusions of the survey, based on the participation of 34 professionals with functions: CEO, team managers, project manager, trainers, economists, financial specialists, auditors.

The survey was conducted, online, between March – May 2022. The interviewees have the following profile:

  • 68% with the field of service provision;
  • 23% of the trade;
  • 6% of education and 3% Horeca.

And the size of the company:

  • 56% with less than 10 employees;
  • 29% over 30 employees;
  • 15% between 10 and 20 employees.

Sources of information on management software

Among the preferences of the most found interviewees as a source of information, Internet through the search engine with 31 votes and in second place social networks and other online platforms with 23 votes.

Of these we mention:

– Facebook ranks 1 in the preferences of the interviewees;

-The news sites occupy second place;

-Youtube, the platform that allows users to load and watch audio-video materials occupy third place;

– The LinkedIn social network is in fourth place in the upper part of the sources of information;

– blogs are classified in 5th place;

– They can be found between the responses of people and Twitter and Tiktok, but in very small numbers.

The recommendations received from friends and relatives are among the preferences of the interviewees as a source of information and finally the mass media.

The level of interest of the interviewees of the questionnaire for the use of CRM/ERP applications

To the question “Consider it effective in the use of a CRM/ERP application for the company where you work?”, A percentage of 82% of interviewees replied yes and issued some topics:

“Helps the efficiency of the use of resources”;

-“The software and customer management tools help me to simplify the process of customer involvement, to establish close relationships with them, to develop their loyalty and, to increase the sales and profits of the company”;

– “It helps to manage the relationship with customers and suppliers better and evaluate the history of society”;

-“All customers and data in one place”;

– “work efficiency”;

– “A CRM is useful for keeping customer records”;

– “for better management of all interactions with customers”;

– “To be easy to customize, an easy configuration, I can create mandatory fields, generate daily activities of the subordinate team”;

– “The possibility of preparing and archiving customized offers for customers (who include both information and images)”.

Interestingly, only two people who have discussed, use an CRM system and three other people use an online billing program.

This means that the administrators of small and medium -sized enterprises in Romania have information, I know exactly because they need their business and only need an impulse to make a purchase in this sense.

The features necessary for an CRM application to meet the needs of small and medium -sized corporate managers.

In the answers received to the application What are the main features that a CRM/Erp app from your point of view should offer? The distance from the element ranked before the element ranked in the last place is not so large.

This can mean that all the features in the list are important and should not be missing from a CRM application.

Type of acquisition and amounts that the interviewees are willing to pay for the use of a CRM/ERP application

The type of purchase of a CRM application preferred by the questionnaire interviewees is the one built from scratch for their company. This means that they want personalized features that are not found in a standard application.

In 2nd place the type of purchase was classified according to a subscription and we can also check the amounts that the interviewees are willing to pay for a monthly subscription of a CRM application.

Most chose the option between 100 and 500 she/month, as can be seen in the following figure, but there were also response variants to use a free CRM application.

The information is said to be the most precious thing, the more a company has more information on the profile of the customer and the destination audience, the more it becomes stronger.

Conclusions

From the report presented above we can extract:

– The most used source of information is online, more precisely the search on the Google engine;

– a very high percentage of 82%, of interviewees believes that a CRM application is useful for business management;

– I also found the favorite type of purchase and the amounts that the interviewees are willing to pay for the use of a CRM/ERP application based on a monthly subscription.

The AMC CRM application complies with the preferences of the interviewees regarding the functions necessary to meet the needs of small and medium -sized corporate managers.
